MarKen PPE Restoration is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company that specializes in the inspection, cleaning, and repair of personal protective ensembles and ensemble elements used for structural, wildland, industrial, and aviation firefighting applications. MarKen PPE Restoration provides end users, distributors and manufacturers with a highly skilled resource for aftermarket alterations, modifications and accessories. MarKen also specializes in the cleaning and decontamination of personal protective ensembles used in law enforcement and military applications. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and, follows a documented Quality Management Program governing every process and operation. We are 3rd Party ETL verified by Intertek Testing Services (ITS/ETL) per NFPA 1851, 2008 edition to perform Basic and Advanced Repairs on all outer shells, thermal liners, W.L. Gore Crosstech Moisture Barriers and Stedfast Stedair 3000 and Stedair 4000 Moisture Barriers. We are also the first ISP in the United States to become ISO 9001:2008 certified.  Our quality management system has been registered by Intertek Testing Services, which is ANAB accredited.  ISO 9001 certification is currently only required of manufacturers per NFPA 1971, 2007 edition.  Our technical and management team has over 36 years of combined experience in the care and maintenance of Personal Protective Ensembles. Every member of our technical and management team have completed the required certificate training programs, for Advanced Cleaning, Decontamination and Advanced Inspections per NFPA 1851, 2008 edition from Globe CARES, Lion TotalCare, Honeywell First Responder Products University, Quaker Safety Products, W.L. Gore & Associates, MSA University and Bullard SmartLine. Additionally all of our sewing technicians have completed the required training from Honeywell First Responder Products University for Basic and Advanced Repairs and our Production Supervisor and Sales & Marketing Manager have both attended onsite training at Globe Manufacturing, Honeywell First Responder Products and Lion Apparel and have attended seminar training from W.L. Gore & Associates.
